 
So, how will the photo shoot work?
Well, firstly you need to decide on which style of photography you would like, either 'Studio' or 'Natural'.
Both shoots will last a similar time between 1-2 hours but this is very dependent on the child and how they are on the day.
If you would like the studio style of picture then I simply come to your house where you child is going to feel more relaxed and comfortable and I set up my mobile studio. You can either go for a white or a black background. Both are very striking but produce very different end results so think carefully about how you want your pictures to look. If you would like the black clothes on a black background then I can provide some baby grows for babies to wear as I don't expect most parents have many black baby clothes..
If you would like the natural style of picture then I like to go outside into nature, on the beach or into the garden or woods. It does tend to be easier in the summer time but there is nothing wrong with a cosy wrapped up warm hat and scarf picture - although I would avoid this with little ones as you can't really see them under layers of clothes! Probably better for the 4 and up age group but it all depends on your kids and how they are.
After the photo shoot I will edit and digitally hand retouch the selection of pictures which I will then upload to a password protected gallery for you to view. You can then choose the pictures you would like printed and I can offer the choice of many different formats (see my pricing page for the different options). I won't do any heavy selling or try to pressurise you in any way.
I have 2 kids of my own and have been photographing kids for years so I am quite used to being around them and hopefully encouraging them to relax.... but I equally understand that everyday can be different when it comes to kids. You choose the best time that suits you, or rather them. It is often best when they have just had their sleep so they are refreshed and (hopefully) in a good mood..
